BSc - Renal Dialysis Technology

“Dialysis is the artificial purification process of blood. Using dialysis process, it is possible to remove waste, excess of water and other unwanted fluid from the blood of patients.” In Renal Dialysis Technology course, students are trained to operate dialysis equipment, inspect and maintain it. Other than technical training, subjects like human anatomy and physiology, renal diseases, other relevant diseases, blood chemistry etc are also covered in this course. After completing the course, dialysis technologist may work under the supervision of specialized clinicians and Nurses at hospitals or healthcare setups offering dialysis treatment.

Eligibility

A Pass in Intermediate/ APOSS (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry or Intermediate Vocational (Medical Lab Technology) with Bridge courses or Inter Vocational with Bridge Course and should attain 17 Years as on 31st December 2021.

Scholarship will be awarded for deserving and meritorious candidates under following criteria (Only in the first year)

  • 95% and above will be awarded 25% of Tuition Fee and
  • 85% -94% will be awarded 15% of Tuition Fee
