The National Pharmacovigilance Week was commemorated with an air of enthusiasm and intellectual vibrancy through a landmark collaboration between Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMSR), The Apollo University (TAU), and Apollo College of Nursing (ACoN). Themed “Pharmacovigilance – A Key Tool for Public Safety,” the week-long celebration blossomed into a rich confluence of science, creativity, and community engagement, illuminating the indispensable role of pharmacovigilance in safeguarding lives.

Students Step into the Future with Young Leaders Dialogue at The Apollo University

On 27th September 2025, The Apollo University Leadership Club, organized an impactful awareness session titled “Viksit Bharat Quiz 2026” and “Build Young Leaders India 2047” as part of the Government of India’s Young Leaders Dialogue initiative. The event aimed to cultivate civic awareness, leadership skills, and strategic thinking among students in alignment with India’s developmental vision for 2047. The session was graced by eminent dignitaries including Dr. H. Vinod Bhat, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor.

Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign Gains Momentum: 30 Saplings Planted at Vividha

The Apollo University undertook a lead in transformative Plantation Drive conducted at AKC on 27th September 2025, led by the NSS Unit and the Eco Club. This campaign was not merely an act of planting trees instead; it was an expression of the ecological consciousness, and institutional commitment to sustainable development goals in association with the national environment mission.

In alignment with the nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva initiative, The Apollo University successfully organized a Digital Cleanliness Drive from 27th to 30th September 2025 as part of the campaign run at Apollo Knowledge City from 23rd September to 04th October. The program was conducted across all schools, departments, directorates, and establishments, aimed at promoting digital organization, workspace hygiene, and sustainable cleanliness practices.

The Apollo University, Chittoor, celebrated World Pharmacists Day 2025 with great enthusiasm and academic spirit, reaffirming the vital role of pharmacists as key partners in healthcare. The program commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the ushering in of knowledge. The event was attended by students, faculty, and dignitaries to honor the contributions of pharmacists in ensuring safe medication use, drug quality assurance, and patient guidance.

The NSS Apollo University organised the Swachha Andhra Plantation Drive 2025 on 20th September, 2025 at Vividha Garden, organized by its NSS Units 1 & 2 in collaboration with the Eco Club. The initiative, held as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva - 2025 campaign, focused on enhancing the campus green cover and promoting sustainable living by planting fruit-bearing trees. The drive aimed to instill environmental awareness, cultivate community involvement, and provide long-term ecological benefits.
